• Final Day in Uganda

We safely arrived to Kampala, but I now know why they say it can take up to 10 hours to travel here from Sironko. The traffic was bumper to bumper for the last 3 hours! Along the way we stopped at the Compassion project called Kiringa. Lynda was able to meet her sponsored child here. Lynda’s child is very popular with all the preschool children at WaterStone.

We also were able to see the water wells that WaterStone had built for Kiringa 2-3 years ago. It was really cool to see and hear how many people benefit from the wells.

Water WellsAfter leaving Kiringa, we stopped for a quick visit at the source of the nile. I touched it! Here’s a group shot.

Since the wifi is really slow here this may be my last post and picture for the trip. I’ll have to post some more after we land in the US. We will be meeting our sponsored children this afternoon for a fun day after a quick shopping trip. This will be awesome!

Thanks to all for reading, praying and your support. I’ll leave you will a picture of an ATM screen that should make us all glad to live in America.
