Our 2014 Uganda trip is nearly underway. Today a team of 10 people from WaterStone will depart on two 9-hour flights with a four hour layover in Heathrow, arriving in Kampala during the wee hours Friday morning (local time). The team and luggage are all set for what will be an amazing experience.

Just a glimpse into what we’re hauling with us this year:

• *50 soccer balls donated by the Colorado Rapids
• *120 New Testament Bibles
• *8 Laptops with 50 GBs of educational resources already loaded
• *30 Children books
• *100+ items of clothing (all sizes)
• *50lbs+ of candy and treats
• *75 one-gallon Ziploc bags filled with items sent by sponsors at WaterStone to their sponsored child in Uganda
• *15 backpacks filled with items for the team to give directly to their sponsored children
• *VBS activities and crafts for 700 children

Similar to last year, I will try to blog each night so that our friends and family can share in the experiences. We would not be here without your love and support. Thank you to all who are praying for us and this trip. We have a big God. Here’s to life changing experiences!
