• Day One

All travelers and most of our luggage have arrived safely. With a few bizarre dreams due to malaria meds, jet lag and 5 hours of sleep; we are back on the bus for a 6 hour journey north to Sironko.

This afternoon we will be welcomed at the compassion project by hundreds of children and adults singing, dancing and praising God for our safe arrival..

    Pictures to come!

Update: St. Luke’s and Sironko’s Compassion project welcomed us with a huge celebration. We also had a dedication ceremony for the new kitchen that was just finished. WaterStone collected enough funds during the Christmas Eve service in 2012 to build the largest building to date on the project site with several different rooms for dining, fellowship and food storage. It is also the location of the future computer lab!

The best song was from the 3 to 5 year olds. It’s called, “Jesus called to tell me..” They are pretending Jesus is calling them on a cellphone to tell them He loves them. Adorable.

    Enjoy!
