To Everyone:

We hope that you had a terrific end to 2011 and are excited for 2012. HHF is set to grow this year and we’ll need your help to better serve our communities, starting in Denver.

http://rkin.org/ (Think “our kin”) is the first product/service that HHF has implemented. It’s a messaging forum for nonprofits & churches to post needs that exist within their communities. The concept is pretty simple.. The organizations post the needs and households in Denver browse rkin to try and meet the existing needs in Denver with your stuff. Rather than dropping your furniture, clothing, shoes, etc. off at Goodwill; you can help someone out on a personal level!

We are also happy to announce that we are a 501c3 approved nonprofit as of Dec 2011. We have the vision and capability to expand rkin beyond Denver, but one step at a time.

Please browse the website and see if you have anything available that someone else needs. Feel free to touch base with the posting nonprofit to coordinate donations. Get your friends involved to have a bigger impact!
